I really don’t understand people who work out in flat shoes, like Converse – and I mean, seeing them run on treadmills, too. It hurts my knees just thinking about it, as you easily can injure them because of the shoes you’re working out in. So, just to let you girls know: get yourself good workout shoes/running shoes that actually help dampen the weight that you put on your knees with every forceful step (good shoes actually lessen the impact of your step and cushion the foot from heavy landing).
God.. That sounded a little bit like a commercial/doctor/lesh article, haha, but really.. Just when seeing people work out in the flatest, non-friendly shoes, I’m like ?, hehe. I’ve had troubles with my knees before, and trust me, it’s not fun at all. I need a new pair for myself too, and I must admit it is hard for me to stay away from Nike as it’s my favorite sports brand, followed by Under Armour. I could not wear Adidas, haha.. Funny, huh? These are the babes I’m looking at (would prolly not recommend them for serious weight-lifting as that “requires” a flatter sole):
