Turn your face towards the sun, let the shadows fall behind you.
Don’t look back, just carry o, and the shadows will never find you.

Hello Saturday and Merry Christmas to my Swedish babes who celebrate today ♥
How are you guys? Our past days have been full and hectic, fun and a pinch of nervewracking – buuut it’s weekend and in only 6 days my family will be here :’)), beyooooond excited to see them again after 6 whole months.
I started off this morning with some work and then we headed out for some errands and shopping. 2016 is nearly over and I seriously can’t wait for the new year to begin. Something that leaves me a little anxious is the fact that I couldn’t wait for 2015 to be over, then 2016 gave us a taste of literally everything this year. No year in my entire life has been as.. stressful, emotional, menally draining, and literally “fucked up” as this one that’s pulled the rug under our feet way too many times. But it’s taught us a lot, and I can finally, with the hand on my heart and in all peace say that I know what matters to us. It’s funny huh, how we are capable of seeing what truly matters at the darkest times, yeah? Instead of feeling blind in the pitch dark, you see more than ever. AD, the love at home and the closest friends has made it possible for us to still get through with a smile. 2015 was a joke to this year, but I know that 2017 will be good and we’ll keep turning our faces towards the sun.
So, today I passed by Swarovski and got Aaleyah this year’s snowflake. Swarovski designs a new crystal snowflake every year, and I regret not buying one in 2015 – the year Aaleyah was born. Then, Ymyr found the 2015 online on an auction site here in Switzerland and I got really happy because I’ve decided to buy one each year from now on. By the time Aaleyah moves out (I hope never though ;p), she’ll have a plenty of these as a gift from us. Now I’m just hoping that they’ll never fall from the christmas tree as the previous years will be quite hard to find.. haha. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? :-)
